MN If an applicant does not sit for any section of the examination for a period of three years or more, they must submit a new application to the board to resume taking the exam.
NY New York has its own retention of credit period
OH Candidates inactive for 5 years lose their eligibility and must reapply and meet the current eligibility requirements in order to resume testing.
PA Does not accept any passed divisions over 5 years old
TN Applications are held in a pending status for five years from the date of application, after which candidates must reapply. Candidates retain credit for any parts of the exam passed.
