IDP Supervisor e-News: The Important Work of IDP Auxiliary Coordinators (April 2013)
IDP coordinators exist to facilitate the flow of information to students and interns on the path to licensure. These individuals, who are often volunteers, usually provide the first introduction to the licensure process for students and interns.

IDP Supervisor e-News: New Reporting Options for Interns (December 2012)
NCARB has released a new weekly reporting option that gives interns even more flexibility when reporting their experience hours in the online reporting system. Also, Interns now have more ways to earn IDP experience. NCARB has implemented a new opportunity—construction work—and modified the academic internship opportunity to remove the 930-hour cap.

Rollover to IDP 2.0: Supervisors and Mentors (March 2012)
Interns have been advised to submit their experience in the e-EVR well in advance of the April 3 rollover to IDP 2.0, but supervisors and mentors DO NOT need to approve the submitted experience by this date.

IDP Supervisor e-News: IDP 2.0 Final Phase Goes Into Effect 3 April 2012 (December 2011)
The final phase of IDP 2.0 will go into effect on 3 April 2012. As an IDP supervisor, you need to be aware of the rule changes and how they impact your intern(s). You are an active participant in providing them with the experience that will prepare them for licensure.

IDP Supervisor e-News: Site Visit With a Mentor (April 2011)
In October 2010, NCARB introduced three new ways for interns to earn core credit to satisfy the IDP training requirement whether or not employed. One of those opportunities is through site visits with a mentor.

IDP Supervisor e-News: Work Settings Become Experience Setting in Fall 2011 (December 2010)
Next fall, the final phase of IDP 2.0 will replace the current seven work settings with three experience settings: A, O, and S. Read this edition to learn how the switch may impact your interns and to learn more about community-based design centers/collaboratives.

IDP Supervisor e-News: New Opportunitites to Earn IDP Credit! (September 2010)
The NCARB Board of Directors has approved new IDP eligibility dates and supplementary education opportunities for the program that will go into effect on 1 October 2010. All changes are effective on or after the implementation date and may not be documented retroactively.

IDP Supervisor e-News: Six-Month Rule in Effect 1 July 2010 (May 2010)
This edition includes information on the final implementation of the Six-Month Rule, the difference between an IDP supervisor and a mentor, and other useful tips for supervisors.

IDP Supervisor e-News: How IDP 2.0 Impacts Supervisors (March 2010)
The Six-Month Rule will go into effect for all interns at 12:01 a.m. EDT on 1 July 2010. This edition also includes information on how IDP 2.0 impacts supervisors and tips from the Washington State IDP coordinator.
