ARE 5.0 Demonstration Exam



Welcome to the ARE 5.0 Demonstration Exam. This exam includes 75 sample items from across all six divisions of ARE 5.0. It also provides you with the opportunity to familiarize yourself with exam content, item types, and case studies and to practice using the whiteboard, break feature, and other test-taking and navigational tools that you'll see on each ARE 5.0 divisional exam. The demonstration items are not scored and no history is kept. 

 

As with all ARE 5.0 exam divisions, this demonstration exam is designed for monitors of 19 inches or larger displaying at a resolution of 1920 x 1080. If you are taking this demonstration exam on a smaller monitor or at a lower resolution, then your user interface experience may differ from those using the settings for which the exam was designed. Additionally, if you plan to take ARE 5.0 using the online proctoring option, be aware that there are important computer and environmental requirements. Please review the ARE 5.0 Guidelines prior to taking your divisional exams. 

 

Before this demonstration exam begins, you will see the following ARE Candidate Agreement screen and the Testing Reminders screen, both of which will appear here just as they do before taking a scored ARE 5.0 divisional exam. You are advised to read those screens carefully.
