As part of NCARB’s ongoing redesign of our online system, we are excited to announce updates to the Experience section of My NCARB. This redesign aims to streamline how candidates document their professional experiences, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly.

As part of this update, the Experience section is now fully mobile accessible, allowing candidates to manage their accounts conveniently from their smartphones or tablets. Head to your My NCARB account to explore all the redesigned features and improvements in documenting your experience!

Updated Experience Reporting

You may notice some changes when navigating the Experience tab of your My NCARB account and creating new experience reports. To create a new report, you must first identify the type of experience (i.e., Employee vs. Volunteer/Self-Directed) before selecting a more specific category under Setting A or Setting O.

The Experience section of My NCARB has been updated.

We’ve also enhanced the “Add New Experience” process to guide you in creating accurate Setting A or Setting O reports with ease and have included steps in the report creation that help clarify the reporting requirements.

Experience Requirements by Jurisdiction/State

Reviewing jurisdictional work experience requirements now comes with an improved interface that allows you to more easily compare the experience requirements of different jurisdictions. For additional information, be sure to contact your licensing board and review NCARB’s Licensing Requirements Tool

Mobile App Retirement

NCARB will retire the My AXP app in 2025. With the improvements to My NCARB, you can now access My NCARB through your device’s mobile browser for a seamless and improved user experience—providing all the features of the current My AXP app, as well as additional functionality!
