We are excited to share our 2020 Annual Report, where you can find information on our latest initiatives—all aimed to best support and guide regulation in the years to come.
The Fiscal Year 2020 was filled with data-driven research and development, unprecedented change brought on by world events, and continuous collaboration with Member Boards and collateral organizations. Thanks to the ongoing commitment of our members, volunteers, and staff, we were able to continue addressing expectations and evaluate the status of our programs and services.
Organizational Accomplishments
Catch up on NCARB’s advancements from July 2019 to June 2020, including:
- Enhancing our role in advocating for issues related to reasonable regulation and serving as an important voice in the architecture community
- Created new tools and resources for all of our stakeholders, including candidates, licensing boards, Certificate holders, and supervisors
- Growing our capacity to study and share data related to the organization, regulation, and the components of the path to licensure
- Investing time to research emerging technology and trends to keep up with the profession’s evolving pace
Additionally, NCARB (along with the entire architecture community) navigated and responded to unforeseen challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, these challenges soon turned into opportunities to re-approach many of our efforts, including remote delivery of the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) supported by online proctoring.
