In May 2018, the first Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure (IPAL) students graduated from the University of Florida CityLab-Orlando. By participating in their school's IPAL option—a path within the school's existing M.Arch. program—Justin Jablonski, Michael Germano, and Phillip Lantry had the opportunity to complete the Architectural Experience Program® (AXP™) and take each division of the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) while earning their degree.
Overlapping their education, experience, and examination requirements allowed the graduates to earn their licenses just weeks after accepting their diplomas. Learn more about the innovative program from the graduates themselves, and the architects who mentored them!
