Organizational Accomplishments
Our commitment to going further for our members, customers, and the public is detailed in the report, which highlights progress made in each of the core objectives identified in NCARB’s Strategic Plan. Some of this year’s key efforts include:
- The reinstatement of older passed examinations for more than 6,000 licensure candidates as a result of 2023’s retirement of the Architect Registration Examination five-year rolling clock policy
- NCARB’s Board of Directors released a statement committing to developing a framework for multiple pathways to practice
- Expanded access to architectural practice through a refreshed Mutual Recognition Agreement with Australia and New Zealand
- Released the 12th edition of our NCARB by the Numbers annual data report, with an expanded examination section highlighting the impact of NCARB’s free practice exams on candidate pass rates
