Chicago, IL—The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) introduced its FY25 Board of Directors at the organization’s 2024 Annual Business Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. NCARB’s Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from around the country, elected annually by the organization’s members, who are the 55 U.S. architectural licensing boards.
Eligibility for service on the Board of Directors has been historically limited to those who served on a licensing board, which requires an appointment by a governor or other elected entity. However, a governance change last year added two at-large seats with eligibility either by licensing board service or two years of committee service.
