Kevin J. Singh, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB, is architecture program chair and professor in the School of Design at Louisiana Tech University. He is director of the Community Design Activism Center (CDAC) and has served in this role since joining the faculty in 2006. He currently teaches courses in community design, fourth year studios, and professional practice. Prior to teaching, he worked in various architecture and design practices in Ohio.
Singh was elected as an NCARB At-Large Director at the organization's 2024 Annual Business Meeting. He has served as chair of the Education Committee, and as a member of the Licensure Process Research & Development Task Force. He was appointed to serve on the Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners (LSBAE) as the architect/educator board member in 2019. He currently serves as chair of LSBAE.
Singh has been recognized throughout his academic career for his service to the local community, university, and profession. He was named a 40 Under 40 honoree by Building Design + Construction magazine, the Outstanding Young Person of the Year (Lincoln Parish/County) by Ruston Jaycees, and awarded with USGBC Louisiana's "Innovation Champion" recognition. Most recently, he was recognized with the Outstanding Alumni award from Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning in 2023.
