Heather is the Assistant Vice President of Organizational Health at NCARB, where she has worked since 2010. Heather and her team have the primary responsibility for raising awareness and cultivating optimal organizational health that is characterized by effectiveness, cohesive teams, clarity of mission and purpose, diversity, equity, inclusion and agility. Prior to her role on the Organizational Health team, Heather served as NCARB’s Assistant Vice President of Human Resources where she worked with the rest of the HR team to provide a range of services, such as professional development, employee wellness, talent and performance management, and the best possible benefits for the organization’s 100+ employees.
Heather is a member of the District of Columbia Society for Human Resource Management and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Heather earned her master's degree from Virginia Tech and her bachelor's degree from Radford University. She holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification through HRCI and a HR Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through SHRM. She is a certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
