NCARB will retire the My AXP app on January 31, 2025, due to a recent mobile-accessible update to the Experience section of My NCARB.

Updates to the Experience section will streamline how candidates document their professional experiences, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly. As part of this update, the Experience section is now fully mobile accessible, allowing candidates to manage their accounts conveniently from their smartphones or tablets.

App users will not need to take any action to save their AXP progress as a result of this change; experience reported through the app is automatically documented in their NCARB Record.

Current app users can still record AXP experience from their mobile device through My NCARB and create a shortcut to the Experience section on their device’s home screen.

How to Create a Mobile Shortcut to My NCARB

For Android: While in the Experience section of my.ncarb.org in Chrome, tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Add to Home screen” in the dropdown menu.

For iPhone: While in the Experience section of my.ncarb.org in Safari, tap on the share icon in the bottom center of the screen and select “Add to Home Screen” from the menu (users may need to scroll down).

Other Updates to My NCARB Experience Section

NCARB has also enhanced the “Add New Experience” process to guide candidates in creating accurate Setting A or Setting O reports and have included steps in the report creation that help clarify the reporting requirements. To begin creating a new report, candidates must first identify the type of experience (i.e., Employee vs. Volunteer/Self-Directed) before selecting a more specific category under Setting A or Setting O.
